Planning to use a confetti cannon
Are confetti cannons easy to use?
Yes, they are very easy to operate. The cannons are fired by twisting the bottom section of the cannon. Simply remove the safety label and twist. Always follow the instructions on the cannon.
How many confetti cannons do I need?
People's expectations vary hugely. For example, a first dance at a wedding in a marquee with 100 guests, a pack of six 50cm cannons would be appropriate.
On a medium size stage with five performers, two 80cm cannons would look good.
If you are unsure please call us for advice.
What size confetti cannon should I order?
What size you buy really depends on how high your ceiling is, the size of area you want to cover, the number of people at your event and the effect you want to achieve.
Distance Guide:
• 30cm cannon will fire approx. 5 metres
• 50cm cannon will fire approx. 8 metres
• 80cm cannon will fire approx. 12 metres

Can I use a confetti cannon indoors?
Yes, confetti cannons are often used indoors. When using indoors make sure you have sufficient room away from people and objects.
Are confetti cannons loud?
Our confetti cannons do go with a bang; imagine the sound of a door slamming, or a balloon popping.
Technical Info
Is the confetti in your cannons biodegradable?
Yes, all our tissue confetti is 100% certified biodegradable*.
We now also have gold tissue biodegradable confetti available.
*Silver and gold metallic confetti is made from thin PVC and is therefore not biodegradable and should only be used indoors.
How does a confetti cannon work?
Confetti Master’s handheld confetti cannons are powered using a small compressed cylinder of nitrogen (an inert gas). When the gas in the cylinder is released it propels the confetti out of the cannon.
Have a look at our blog about this.
Can I take a confetti cannon on an aeroplane?
The confetti cannons contain a pressurised cylinder and come under UN number 3164 (Articles, Pressurised, Pneumatic). We would advise you not to take them onto an aeroplane.
Is your confetti colourfast?
Like all confetti, we cannot guarantee that it is colourfast.
Do your confetti cannons produce any heat or smoke?
No, they are powered using inert pressurised gas (nitrogen).
